There are two women who have had a dramatic impact on 2009 hair trends: Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes. It's the latter, though, that is the true trendsetter. Of the two it was Holmes first took a risk on the cropped bob and soon followed up with the even riskier pixie hair style; all the while Holmes made the hair styles look hot. But as I indicated about this years hair trends: short hair styles simply can't stay 'in' forever, and so one of the biggest influencers upon them has moved on. Katie Holmes' new hair style is long and flowing.
Obviously the result of hair extensions, Holmes rightly chose an elegant curl of this year's stright hair style. She contrasted her new hair style against a Jason Wu dress and Rousseau 'Dragon' Shoes.
Though not 100% convincing, I for one hope she keeps up the style and helps bring back the elegance of long locks in a world where bobs and fringes are a little too common-place.
